Wavin addresses the risk of legionella in pipeline testing with the innovative Tigris K5/M5 system (K5 is a full plastic fitting, M5 is the metal version). Unlike traditional water pressure testing, the plastic press-fit Tigris K5 system uses air pressure, eliminating the risk of legionella development. The system's air pressure testing also prevents water damage by quickly identifying leaks, safeguarding electrical installations, flooring, and walls. Additionally, the Tigris K5 features an 80-decibel pressure leak alert, a world-first (designed by Wavin) acoustic alarm, ensuring prompt detection even in loud environments.
